Meet Ruby

Ruby has always been pretty picky when it comes to food. It has never been easy to satisfy her fine palate.

When Ruby Café MTL was created inside Doggieville MTL, Canada’s first luxury dog resort, I named our restaurant after her. If Ruby approves the chef’s creations, it means the food meets her high standards. Now Ruby’s Café delights doggie parents and furry visitors with a wide variety of nutritious and tasty options.

Founder & CEO

As a devoted dog mom, I’ve always strived to give my beloved Ruby the best. Inspired by our bond and the challenges we faced finding dog-friendly spots, we opened Doggieville MTL where all of Ruby’s furry friends are welcome. Named after my dear Ruby, Ruby Cafe MTL is a heartfelt tribute and more than just a restaurant: a cozy haven where dog lovers can gather, dine, and share special moments.

Parminder’s journey at Ruby Cafe Mtl is a heartfelt story of following his passion alongside Tatiana’s dream. From managing staff and ensuring great service to making the café dog-friendly, his dedication shines through, along with a deep connection with dogs and a commitment to making every visit special.

Ruby Café MTL is the sister café of Doggieville MTL. It sits in the same 1919 brick building by the Lachine Canal, next to the resort’s dog hotel, daycare, grooming salon, indoor pool and boutique.

We had an amazing time with our 2 little dogs! Service was amazing, food absolutely delicious and an over all experience amazing. We celebrated our dogs 1 year and it was so much fun, the waitress was so sweat and very attentive. We will very much come back.

Wow an experience like no other! My wife Sophie, our little dog Kayla, and I had a delicious breakfast, and we were all treated like royalty, Kayla included!
