A family brunch in Montréal, kids and dogs welcome

Bring the kids, bring the dog, bring the grandparents. Ruby Café MTL serves brunch Friday to Sunday, 10 AM to 3 PM, at 3824 Rue Saint-Patrick by the Lachine Canal, with plates sized for the little ones, high chairs, and free parking right outside.

Plates for the little ones

The Smiley Breakfast Junior ($16): one egg, roasted potatoes, orange and kiwi slices and buttered toast. The Puppy Pancake ($22): a ricotta-lime and chocolate pancake shaped like a puppy, with berries, maple syrup and strawberry sauce on the side. Every plate lists its allergens.

Kids and dogs, together

Most tables have a dog, and kids love it. It’s a good place to practise asking “can I pet your dog?”. Dogs stay on a leash, and your own dog sits with the family and gets its own menu.

Easy for parents

We have high chairs, the parking is free and right at the door, and the Lachine Canal path is next door for a walk before or after. For a calmer brunch, come on Friday, our quietest day, or after 1 PM on the weekend.

Birthday for a child, a grandparent or the dog? Call us and we’ll prepare it: the table, a cake, treats for the dogs. Expecting another baby? Let the dog reveal it with a gender reveal cake.
