Things to do in Montréal with your dog
Montréal is an easy city to explore with a dog. Here is a simple plan for a day out, starting with brunch.

Start with brunch at Ruby Café MTL
Ruby Café MTL is a dog-friendly brunch café inside Doggieville MTL, at 3824 Rue Saint-Patrick. Your dog sits at the table with you and orders from a dog menu with Pawfles, Woof Loaf and pup cakes. We are open Friday to Sunday, 10 AM to 3 PM.
Walk along the Lachine Canal
The café is by the Lachine Canal, so a walk after brunch is easy. Keep your dog on a leash: Montréal requires it in public places outside dog parks.
Stop at Atwater Market
Atwater Market is also on the Lachine Canal. It is a good stop for local produce, cheese and bread to take home.
Spend the afternoon in Old Montréal
Old Montréal, with its stone streets and the Old Port, is a short drive from the café.
Need a few hours on your own?
Doggieville MTL, in the same building as the café, offers daycare, boarding and grooming. See doggievillemtl.com for details.
